We (Firebrick Gallery and Pottery Studio and South Street Skateshop) plan on hosting Deck Art 2012 – May 18, 2012

1) We will have five categories:  Elementary School, Middle School, High School, College Students, and Adults. We will need two to three  volunteer judges per category. Inquiries may be sent to firebrickgallery@att.net.  We would love to have art teachers to help with the judging!  We will leave the theme open like we did for Deck Art 2011. To judge, the criteria used was the following: creativity, technique, and difficulty.

2) We will be seeking corporate sponsors – to assist with cash prizes and honorable mention prizes!

3) We will host Skateboard Art Silent Auction again! Artists will be able to pick their favorite Michigan charity.

4) We will host preview party for judges, artists and entrants prior to opening night, May 17, 2012.
